Waiting Game
She moves so much now am wondering if she is just trying to remind me constantly that she exists. She doesn't need to actually; how could I not notice? Am trying not to look at myself in the mirror to much. Hard thing to do when the first thing I see is myself reflected in three different angles off my three-panel dressing table when I walk out the bathroom. I should just throw a towel or a huge sheet over the mirrors.
Yesterday my sis exclaimed about the red splotches on the backs of my thighs. Well, at least they're not in my direct line of sight. I sleep as close to the edge of the bed as I can so I can conveniently roll myself out of bed in the mornings. I've discovered that having a sizeable rack is more bother than anything else; other than being big and cumbersome and collecting sweat, crumbs from the biscuits or snacks I eat tend to fall into the crevice that is my cleavage. At the end of the day, when I remove my bra, I find all manners of bits of food falling out. Gross. That probably goes for my table manners too.
On the other hand, I can rest a plate on my belly while I have my PBJ sandwich, provided she decides not to move and shove the plate off the side.
Like I said, I can't wait.

What's the joke?
Just before taking this photo, I think Chin Lai accidentally smacked the back of his palm on Aisha's face or sari veil. She's not grimacing in pain, she's laughing.
No, he didn't leave any lasting damage, thank goodness!
A Makcik and her Sister
Taking a snack break before the akad nikah. Fresh from the kampung, the pregnant makcik had swiped some biscuits from Aisha's dad earlier in the day. Lucky thing she did too. A few minutes after arriving at the masjid, she was already hungry. The sister's probably dreaming about lunch...
It Happened in a Flash
I like this photo. Somehow the flash from the other photographers must have gone off at the right moment. The pair are illuminated as if they are emanating or basking in their own light.
Note: all photos posted on Sam & Aisha's wedding events are taken either by Chin Lai or Jason. Most are by Chin Lai.
Bangles to make a girl proud
Shiok sendiri. I love my bangles! These took us two hours to choose. Or rather, the expert at the store in Brickfields took an hour or so to put together. The first hour was spent looking for necklaces and earrings and such...
Time well spent, I would say.

The Newlyweds
After a whirlwind two-day event that covered the Nikah, Aisha's reception and finally Sam's reception, the newlyweds are off to Bali for a much-needed vacation and honeymoon.
Have a lovely time, guys!!
